Golf Brands That Make It By Hand
The honest version of “handmade” is narrow, and this is our attempt to hold the line on it. Artisan Golf qualifies because Mike Taylor still grinds every wedge himself and you cannot order one without an in-person fitting. Ally Aiken qualifies because every course map is watercolour-painted by the named artist, commissions taken one at a time. Clint Orms qualifies because a belt buckle is engraved by a silversmith in Ingram, Texas.
What does not qualify: a factory run with a hand-finished detail, or a story about heritage attached to a volume product. The practical consequence for a buyer is lead time and scarcity — most of the brands here quote weeks rather than days, and several will simply be out. That is the trade, and it is the reason the group exists as its own shelf rather than being folded into design-led.
