Course Merch and Club Shop Brands
Course merch is its own economy, and it runs on attachment rather than performance. Nobody buys a towel with a club crest because it dries better. They buy it because they played there, or want to, or want it known that they did.
Devant Sport Towels has been supplying that economy for decades. Ally Aiken paints the course itself, one commission at a time. Random Golf Club and Sugarloaf Social Club invert the model — building the community first and letting the merchandise follow it, which is why their drops sell out to people who have never been anywhere near a specific clubhouse.
