Gumtree Golf & Nature Club runs out of Brooklyn, and the Nature Club line is what happens when a brand that sews headcovers from wetsuit neoprene and runs three-day ecology retreats in the Catskills decides to make a full wardrobe. Sixteen pieces, almost everything handmade in New York City or Los Angeles. The materials read like a forager’s haul: deadstock vintage cotton lace, Angora goat mohair, herringbone neoprene, 4-way stretch ripstop, Portuguese rigid denim.
Nothing here screams golf. No polos, no tech fabrics, no moisture-wicking marketing copy. Instead you get barrel jeans made in Portugal, cropped linen shirts with shell buttons, and a tank top with white-on-white embroidery. The headcovers and hats bridge the gap — wetsuit neoprene cut into driver covers, 5-panels stitched from ripstop and herringbone cotton. Two percent of every purchase goes toward pulling CO₂ out of the atmosphere. Quantities are low. The deadstock lace shirt is down to its last unit.
