Teddy Santis keeps treating golf like it's always been part of the culture. ALD's third golf capsule runs 55 pieces deep — Blackwatch plaid windbreakers, Cordura double-pleated pants and shorts, merino intarsia knits, diamond jacquard quarter zips, and the croc-embossed FootJoy Marquis that sold out in both colorways.
Performance fabrics throughout, but nothing that looks like it came from a pro shop. The Blackwatch pullover might be the standout — printed golf popover with enough pattern to own the first tee without looking like a costume. The Cordura pants have the weight and structure of something you'd wear off the course. Double-pleated with a clean drape.
This is ALD doing what they do best: taking something traditional and running it through their Queens-bred filter. The price range ($50 bandana to $495 windbreaker) means you can buy in at any level. The knits and quarter zips land in that sweet spot where you'd wear them to dinner after the round and nobody would know they were golf clothes.
