RIPIT treats the golf grip as the last unclaimed surface on a club, and prints art on it. The brand is Australian, and founder Todd Watts spent three years getting a print to survive the molding process before he sold a single grip. The result is artwork worked into the surface of the rubber rather than laid on top.
Every RIPIT grip carries an alignment mark at both ends. The brand releases in limited art series the way an apparel label runs drops. The Eldrick, a deep oxblood grip with a line drawing in the surface, is the one we picked out at $24.95.
