Three ways to play it

Safe

The lay-up that saves your round.

3-wood to the flat spot at 220. That leaves 190 in, but it's a clean look with no trees in the way. Aim center-left of the green and take your par. The boring play is the smart play — this is the hole that separates the guys who break 80 from the guys who talk about it.

Fun

The fade around the corner.

Driver aimed at the left rough, working a 15-yard fade around the dogleg. If you pull it off, you're sitting 130 out with a wedge in. If the fade doesn't fade, you're in the trees and hacking out sideways. A coin flip that feels like a heist when it works.

Aggressive

Over the trees. Nobody's done it.

Dead pull driver over the top of the oaks, cutting the entire dogleg. Carry has to be 280 minimum, and the landing zone is blind. In theory it leaves a flip wedge. In practice it leaves a ball in somebody's yard on the other side of the fence. But one day, someone will try it and it will work.
